Today I'll teach you how to make a signature for a forum with a size of 400*150, this requires knowledge,

and if you know how to create signatures, you'll be able to do a lot of other things.

So let's start, open a new document 400 * 150:

Put in your stock (your picture)

Smudge with a hard round brush (the circle with a hard edge which you get with default brushes) with this properties:

This part:

Now copy your stock a few times, delete some parts, just leave the ones that cover the body and the neck, so it could be more original.

Layer>new>layer, Image>apply imagine and then duplicate the layer layer>duplicate layer... use liquify and track around the woman, and on the end delete everything that seems ugly and everything that goes over her.

Using the hard round brush, paint the black at right and the left side, download this set of brushes and take this set of brushes, and with the fifth brush in the row, with these properties.

Smudge a bit and you'll get this:

With the pen tool add two lines, you do that by choosing 2 spots on the signature, you'll get a line from one chosen spot to another, then you click somewhere on the line, holding the ctrl button you go around with your mouse to get the wanted shape.

Now put the c4d render in your work and put it on overlay:

Combine them with ctrl+e and put the gradient map (image>adjustements>gradient map):

And you got this:

Now it's the makeup part, new layer, apply image go to Adjustment>briggtness/ contrast - briggtness= -10 contrast= +30 layer>new adjustment> gradient map, take the black&white gradient and put opacity to 14 %:

Now take dodge and burn tool, and at the dark places, darken it up a bit, and at the bright places, brighten it up a bit

Paint the new layer into black and put it to linear dodge, with a white soft round brush 65 px and with the smaller opacity draw the source of light.

new layer, apply image, and duplicate it Upper layer, put blur, and sharpen the lower one on the upper layer with a soft round brush delete her head and the part of a body we originally made.

this part:

It jumped out a bit so we'll put it back by using liquify:

Using the rectangular marquee tool, make the stroke up and down.

Put in some details, and add the font, I personally used JaneAusten and Mofnotype corsiva:

[Photoshop Tutorial] Make a Glossy Candy Text Effect For Kids

This is a very tutorial for making colourful text, ideal for any kids decoration or web sites. we will be making this..

So, start off my creating a new canvas, 500*400, and fill it with the white color.

Using the "Fertigo" font, type any word you like, and choose the "bold" text.

Go to Layer Styles panel, and load the following settings..
Gradient from dark #5f001f to light bordo - #8e082c

and this is what we got so far..

Now to the more complicated part.

Make a new layer.
Select a brush, hard round, approximately 35px wide, but this fully depends on how thin is your font and how close are your letters.

Select any colour (preferably bright) and simple doodle over the letter.

Using the same layer, chose other bright colours and go over each and every letter like this.

When you have finished, (and this is very important) choose the "screen" mode for this layer

and it would mean your letters look cute like this..

if you don't like the idea of having a shadow coloured as well, i recommend to load a selection on the letters (by clicking on the layer with letters in your layers window) then go to Select >> Inverse and (make sure the doodle layer is selected) -- press Delete.

If you are not bothered with the shadow or not planning to put any background underneath it, just skip this step.

Next, as explained above, click on the letters layer, to load the selection, and then go to Select >> Modify >> Contract.

Contract the selection by 2 pixels. Press Ok.

Then chose Rectangular Marquee tool, and when the "substruct from selection" mode is chosen, cut the lower part of the selection..

Don't de-select yet.

Make a new layer, select the gradient tool from white to trasperant, and make a light gradient from about 10 pixels above the letters to around 5 pixels after the end of the selection.

This is what we got so far..

That's it, your text is ready! If you want to create a strips background like I did in the first image, simply make a copy of this whole canvas and everything that is on it, flatten it and using the horizontal single row marquee tool located somewhere in the middle, press Ctrl + T to "stretch" the line and then press Enter. Grag this bg layer under the gloss, letters and doodle layer...

In this case, you cannot skip the step I posted previously about deleting the ramaisn of the coloured layer. Hope you enjoyed the tutorial and please feel free to download the FREE psd file..
